Adelita Guerrero is a former P.E.A.C.E. operative who left after disagreements with their new board of directors.
Personality[]
Given her status as an undercover agent, Adelita is a mysterious woman, keeping secrets until it's in her best interest to reveal them. She speaks softly, but firmly, showing her stoicism; her files as a P.E.A.C.E. agent describe her as being "of indomitable character and dauntless". Adelita appears to be religious as well, as she's seen making the sign of the cross and erecting an altar for Dr. Flug, once she thought he wouldn't survive a fight.
She also cares deeply for her husband, Pedro Moreno, willing to sacrifice her soul to Black Hat to set him free from the possession of Mascara Macabra.
Appearance[]
Adelita has brown skin, dark brown hair with a white streak on the left side, and her eyes have black irises and white pupils. She sports two beauty marks: one the left side of her face, above her lips, and another on the right side, below her right eye.
She uses red lipstick and has two big, golden earrings. She wears a white shirt, brown gloves and a brown belt across her chest, a maroon dress bottom with yellow stripes and heeled boots; to disguise herself, she uses a green cloak and a calavera mask.
Story[]
Adelita was born in San Juan de las Pepitas, in Mexico, on March 6th of an unknown year. Not many details are known about her life, nor the order of most of the events, but what can be told about her is:
- She used to be an actress and movie director, winning several Super Nova awards (four for "Best Actress", six for "Best Supporting Actress" and one for "Best Director" for her movie Hasta que la Catrina nos separe).
- At some point, she was executive president of Fundación Guerreros (Warriors Foundation), an organization that employed retired wrestlers as a vehicle for education, in order to shape young athletes into capable leaders.
- Adelita married Pedro Moreno, a fellow awarded actor and the alias of the wrestler El Valiente.
- She joined P.E.A.C.E. alongside her husband-to-be.
It's not known how many missions she took part in, but eventually, she parted ways with the organization. The cause of this was her husband's abandonment by the current leaders of the group, as they deemed him no longer a valuable operative once he was possessed by a strange mask-shaped parasite and refused to aid him. With no other choice, she decided to sacrifice herself for Pedro, striking a bargain with the entity known to her as El Charro Negro. While the terms are shrouded in mystery, El Charro upholded its end of the deal and helped to rid her husband of the cursed mask, and awaits for the time that Adelita will make herself useful to his ends.
