Cartoon Network/Warner Bros./Hanna Barbera references/cameos[]
- The clip of Billy from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy with realistic eyes in the episode "My Peeps" is shown as an example of what might happen to the viewers after watching the video.
- Clips of Dexter's Laboratory and The PowerPuff Girls 1998 series showing both Dexter's Lab opening and the exterior of Mojo's Lair were shown to represent the foundation of evil knowledge and the peak of all evil.
- An enraged Fuzzy Lumpkins from The PowerPuff Girls was used as an example of creating more chaos.
- The villains that were used as examples of terrifying an enemy include:
- Navy Ruby from Steven Universe representing "Fooling the enemy"
- Nom Nom from We Bare Bears representing "Emotional manipulation"
- The Fluffy Bunch from The PowerPuff Girls representing "Exploiting dopes for their money"
- Darwin Watterson from The Amazing World of Gumball as a dictator representing "Taking over the city"
- A clip of Mojo Jojo from The PowerPuff Girls reboot wearing a tiara in the episode "Tiara Trouble" was shown as an aftermath for Mojo from the Orientation video, The Lost Cases of Townsville.
- When it came to Demencia's first question about wanting to either be a pony or a robot, 5.0.5. is shown playing figurines of the Pretty Pretty Pegasus from Teen Titans Go!.
- When 5.0.5 is doing card tricks in front of Flug, some of the cards he is holding is a Yipper trading card from Codename: Kids Next Door, a Hokey Mon! card from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy episode, "It's Hokey Mon!" and a Yu-Gi-Oh! card. The card that Flug picked is Mandark from Dexter's Laboratory.

- The Cartoon Network villains that welcome the viewers to the Organization are HIM, Father from Codename: Kids Next Door, Hunson Abadeer and Cosma from OK KO! Let's Be Heroes.
- To escape from Black Hat, Hunson drops a carton of bug milk and flies down a portal generated from a happy face drawing, which is a nod to his debut in the episode "It Came from the Nightosphere".
Cultural references[]
- The scene where Dr. Flug twiddles his fingers and says "Ooh la la, mon amour!" in response to the name of the fan "Turqouise Relief" is a reference to the "Car Hole" meme from The Simpsons episode "The Springfield Connection". That reference was boarded by animator Diego Mejia and animated by Rafael Cauich.[4]
- 5.0.5 doing a "Let's Play" game is a shout-out to his voice actor, Mark Fischbach's career as a YouTuber and gamer.
- The game that 5.0.5. is playing is the real-life Villainous game, Mechanical Evil.
